
The Lane Titans Women's Basketball team has been ranked number 1 in the NWAC Coaches' Poll for the third straight week.
The Titans swept another weekend tournament to move to 12-0 on the year heading into the winter break.
Last Friday, the Titans travelled to Bellevue College for the NWAC Crossover Tournament.
In their first matchup, they took on the Green River Gators in a rematch of the 2023 NWAC Championship, in which the Titans won by 20.
The result was more of the same this time around with the Titans taking the first game 97-61.
Next up was a matchup against the host team, the Bellevue Bulldogs.
The Titans dominated the first half, going into the locker room up 53-19, which was enough to take the game easily, with a final score of 72-53.
And lastly, in their final game before the winter break, the Titans took on the Wenatchee Valley Knights.
It ended in another blowout victory, 77-47.
Sophomore guards Micah Wicks and Emma McDonald led the way, as both averaged 19 points per game in the three victories.
The Titans will be back in action on December 30th at home against the Blue Mountain Timberwolves.
