• In his first collegiate meet at the George Fox Rich Allen Classic (Mar. 16), Poff placed 22nd in the discus with a throw of 25.96m/85' 2", 13th in the high jump with a height of 1.71m/5' 7.25" and third in the 400m with a time of 51.09.
• In his first collegiate decathlon at the Box Combined Event (Mar. 25-26), Poff finished seventh with 5851 points

• At the Raider Invitational (Apr. 12), Poff placed 21st in the discus with a throw of 35.16m/115' 4", 21st in the shot put with a throw of 11.33m/37' 2.25", sixth in the long jump with a mark of 6.65m/21' 10" and eighth in the 110m hurdles with a time of 16.6.
• At the Titan 30th Avenue Twilight (Apr. 20), Poff did not register a height in the pole vault and high jump and finished ninth in the 400m with a time of 51.26.
• At the NWAC Combined Event Championships (Apr. 29-30), Poff placed second with 6126 points

• At the NWAC Championships (May 20-21), Poff placed ninth in the long jump with a mark of 6.61m/21' 8.25", fifth in the preliminaries of the 400m with a time of 51.05, third in the finals of the 400m with a time of 49.85 and finish 10th in the 200m preliminaries with a time of 22.65.
