2019 (freshman): In her first collegiate track race at the Chico State Distance Carnival and Twilight (Apr. 5-6), Alvarez finished 24th in the 800m with a time of 2:50.03 ... at the Raider Invitational (Apr. 12), Alvarez finished 11th in the 400m with a time of 1:05.46 ... at the Titan 30th Avenue Twilight (Apr. 20), Alvarez finished second in the 800m with a time of 2:48.62 and 13th in the 400m with a time of 1:05.21 ... at the Linfield Open (May 4), Alvarez finished 22nd in the 800m with a time of 2:51.5 and 25th in the 400m with a time of 1:05.79 ... at the NWAC Southern Region Championships (May 11), Alvarez finished eighth in the 800m with a time of 2:41.93 and finished fifth in the 400m with a time if 1:06.97 ... at the NWAC Championships (May 20-21), Alvarez finished eighth in the 800m with a time if 2:37.11 and finished 10th in the preliminaries of the 400m with a time of 1:06.55.
