Titans Take On Spokane in First Round of NWAC Tournament

The Lane Titans Men's Basketball team earned a spot in the NWAC Tournament for the second straight year.

The Titans will be the Southern Region 3rd seed and will take on the Eastern Region 2nd seed, the Spokane Bigfoot.

Lane will enter the tournament with a record of 20-7, while Spokane enters with a 23-6 record.

Ben Thornbrue has led the Titans all year, averaging 21.6 points per game and 7.3 rebounds.

Thornbrue has also been named the NWAC Southern Region Player of the Year.

Silas Wright has also proved to be a significant force, putting up 14.3 points per game and earning First-Team All-Region honors.

Spokane is led by sophomore Zack Reighard, averaging 22.8 points per game.

If the Titans advance they will take on the winner of Skagit Valley and Highline.
