
The Lane Titans opened their season on the road with a 117-107 win over Willamette JV Saturday night.
A new look Titan team did not need much time to gel offensively, as some new faces got going quickly.
Ben Thornbrue, a sophomore transfer from Snow College, dominated with 32 points, going 15-21 from the free throw line.
Marcus McKinney, in his first game as a Titan, finished with 23 points and 6 assists.
And then a familar face, sophomore Silas Wright, led the way with an impressive 35 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists, shooting 13-17 from the field.
The Titans full firepower was on display Saturday, and they hope to keep it rolling on Monday for their home opener.
The Titans will tip off at 7 PM against Pacific University JV.
