Portland's men's basketball team defeated Lane 85-82 on Saturday to earn a regular-season split in their NWAC South Division series.

Daniel Hornbuckle led the Panthers in scoring with 23 points along with five rebounds, four assists and five steals. However, it was the Panthers' depth that allowed them to squeeze out the win. Travion Weiss put up 22 points on 8-for-13 shooting and hit three 3-pointers while coming off the bench, and Alonzo Parnell had 15 points and nine rebounds.

The Titans (11-9, 2-7 NWAC) had four scorers in double figures, led by Ty Horner with 24 points and eight rebounds, and Rodney Hounshell, who had 22 points, 14 rebounds and four assists. Jake Willemsen and Isaac Lange scored 10 points apiece for Lane.
