Tarik Cool got back to his scoring ways with 28 points and the Titans got a 120-78 road win on the other side of Eugene against New Hope.
How it happened: It was only a 13 point half time lead, but the Titans outscored the Deacons by 29 in the 2nd half.
What/who stood out: The Titans normal unselfishness was not as prevalent as they only had 17 assists on 42 made field goals. Cody Mathis recorded another double-double with 17 points 10 rebounds and added two blocks. Rodney Hounshell continued to not know how to miss consistently, he had 21 points on 9-14 shooting and is now averaging 19.8 ppg and a crazy 66 percent from the floor and 47.8 from three as a guard. Lezjon Bonds and Gabe Sorber also scored in double figures off the bench with 14 and 11.
What it means: The Titans are 4-0. They have yet to play a NWAC opponent, but have taken care of business and avoided bad losses that have plagued previous teams.
What's next: The Titans play Multnomah JV on the road on Monday at 6:30 p.m. Then they host the Dale Bates Tournament and open with the other Titans, Tacoma.
