The Titans fell behind 4-0 but still run-rule Lakers for the second time in three games after a walk-off three-run home run from Matt Dallas in the 8th.

How it happened: After two walks, an out and a single by SWOCC, the Lakers got their first run with a bases loaded walk to in the 1st.

It was 3-0 Lakers later in the 1st after a two-run double. The Lakers got their fourth run after a two out strikeout wild pitch allowed the batter to reach and the runner from third to score.

The Titans didn't waste any time cutting into their deficit as Hayden Curtis got an RBI off an error that allowed him to reach and Matt Dallas to score to make it 4-2 Lakers.

In the 2nd Takanori Shimizu hit an RBI-single to right field that scored Jack Swisher and cut the deficit to one, 4-3. The next batter was Skyler Vail, and for the first time in the redshirt-sophomore's career, Vail homered to right field to give the Titans the 5-4 lead.

Later in the 2nd Hayden Curtis got his second RBI off a single that scored Matt Dallas.

The 3rd started the same way the 2nd did for the Titans, Takanori Shimizu hit an RBI-single scoring this time it was Nathan Sprenger scoring to make it 7-4.

For the fourth straight inning the Titans scored, this time it was Henry Lovekamp driving in Matt Dallas.

The 5th was more of the same for the Titans offense. Matt Dallas hit a sacrifice fly to center field that scored Takanori Shimizu to make it 10-4.

The Lakers got on the board for the first time since the 1st inning in the 6th with a sacrifice fly to center field to cut their deficit to five, 10-5.

The Titans responded to the run in the top half-of-the inning with a Nathan Sprenger RBI-single that scored Hayden Curtis. Curran Mitzel would add the Titans twelfth run on an RBI-single that scored Jack Swisher.

After a scoreless 7th from both teams, The Titans got singles from Nathan Sprenger and Jack Swisher to open the 8th with a chance for a run-rule victory if they could manage three runs. After a flyout and strikeout, Skyler Vail hit a RBI-double down the left field line that fell just short of the fence and scored Nathan Sprenger.

With the winning runs in scoring position, Matt Dallas came up. Dallas was 3-of-3 with three runs scored to that point. After fouling a pitch off his foot, Dallas hit a three-run walk-off home run to left center that flew just to the left of the scoreboard for his first career home run and a 16-5 Titan win.
