Titans use eight no-hit innings to beat Spokane 6-4

The Titans use a bounce back offensive performance and eight no-hit innings from in their win vs Spokane, 6-4.

How it happened: The Titans got on the board first after a two-run single, that scored Hayden Curtis and Henry Lovekamp, from Matt Dallas in the top of the 3rd. Later in the inning Jaxon Woodhouse singled and Matt Dallas scored on an error to make it 3-0.

It was a quiet middle innings for both teams, but in the top of the 8th Curran Mitzel singled and scored Nathan Sprenger to make it 4-0. Both Curran Mitzel and Drew Staley would later score off a Skyler Vail single that made it 6-0.

After eight no-hit innings, Spokane opened the 9th inning with a single that was followed by an RBI-triple, walk, RBI-single, walk, fielder choice that scored Spokane's third run. Their fourth and final run came off another fielder's choice. Austin Skelhorn would finish off the game with a strikeout looking to earn the save and a 6-4 win.

What/who stood out: Six runs scored is a season-high….289 average…11 hits tied a season-high…10 strikeouts…two stolen bases a season-high…four hit-by-pitches is the first of the season…three hits allowed is a season-low…four runs allowed in all three games this season…six walks…seven strikeouts is a season-low…zero errors, first error-less game…two double-plays, a season-high…zero pass balls after five in first two games.
