Titans come back to win 5-4 in 10 innings

The Titans game back from a 4-2 deficit to beat Big Bend 5-4 in 10 innings.

How it happened: The Titans opened their season with an RBI single from Nathan Sprenger that scored Jack Swisher in the bottom of the 2nd.

In the top of the 4th Big Bend tied the game at one after a Wild pitch.

Then in the top of the 5th Big Bend took a 2-1 lead after a sacrifice fly.

The Titans responded in the bottom half of the 5th with a Skyler Vail RBI single that scored Curran Mitzel to tie the game at 2.

For the second straight inning the Vikings scored, this time an error and then a balk scored two runs to give them a 4-2 lead.

The Titans again playing catch-up got a run back in the bottom half of the 6th after a Curran Mitzel RBI single that scored Jaxon Woodhouse.

Down one in the bottom of the 9th, the Titans got singles from pinch hitter Drew Staley and Skyler Vail and then after a balk Henry Lovekamp was intentionally walked. A lineout and strike out later pinch hitter Takanori Shimizu drew a bases-loaded walk to tie the game at 4.

After a 1-2-3 top of the 10th by Michael Moore, the Titans got another single from Drew Staley and a fourth hit from Skyler Vail that scored Staley and secured the Titans a 5-4 season opener victory.
