The Lane Community College Women's Basketball team will open their 2023-24 campaign at
home on November 17th and 18th as they are hosting the 7th annual Titan Classic. Participating
teams will be Pierce College, Centralia College, and Linn Benton Community College. The Titans
play at 7:30 pm on Friday, November 17 th against Centralia College and at 3:30 pm on Saturday,
November 18th against Pierce College. The Classic style tournament will open with Linn Benton
playing Pierce at 5:30 on Friday and then playing Centralia at 1:30 on Saturday.
The Titans are returning three players from last year's NWAC championship team, the 6th NWAC
title under the leadership of Head Coach, Greg Sheley. The returning players are Chloe Daniels,
Mya Adams and Payton Sheridan. Lane brought in 8 new players to join the team this year.
They have two transfers, Brook Stookey and Charlie Dea to go along with 6 freshmen, Emma
McDonald, Micah Wicks, Lizzy McConkie, Tori Line, Lillee Duffin, and Brooklyn Moody.
