Through 12 regular season games the Lane Community College Titans men's soccer have secured twenty-seven points and have sealed the top spot in the south standings and top seed for playoffs. Now the Lane Titans destiny is set to host a 7pm quarterfinal playoff match on November 5th versus Everett Community College.

The sophomore heavy roster hopes their experience and defensive prowess can propel them to the semifinal and beyond. The Lane Titans have allowed 8 goals total and have only been scored on twice this season while playing at home in Eugene. The backline features student-athletes from Corvallis, Ashland, Los Angeles, Idaho, Australia, South Africa, Norway, and Japan. Despite the geographical distances the unit is a smooth operating machine

On the attacking half of the game the Titans feature South Region MVP Sai Bliss-King (Eugene, OR), NWAC all-star Yuki Yamaguchi (Japan), Jo Hanamoto (Japan), Ryan Cruse (Redding, CA), and Carson Pindell (Ashland, OR). The front line is supported by midfield talisman Cameron Jeffery (Australia) and Timbers FC academy product Walter Reustle (Roseburg, OR) who both patrol the middle of the pitch and help organize the team in all phases.

"Us coaches are lucky to work with these guys. They are driven, eager to improve, and enjoy competing every day. They take their football seriously, but do not take themselves too seriously. They are funny and understand when to work hard. Several of them should make four-year programs very, very happy." -head coach Max Sampson

Winner of Saturday's match will travel to Seattle, WA for the NWAC semifinal on 11/11/22 at 4:00PM.
