In the first game of the week the Lane Community College men's soccer team hosted Rogue Community College Ospreys and settled for a 1-1 tie. The Lane Titans sole score of the day was a decisive penalty taken by attacking midfielder Sai Bliss-King. The visiting Ospreys would equalize minutes later from a through ball to the Rogue striker, otherwise both teams defended well to finish the game with one point each.

In the second game of the week the Lane Titans would separate to defeat Portland Community College via a Bliss-King strike in a 1-0 contest that resulted in 7 yellow cards between the two sides. Both teams deployed a 4-3-3 formation which created a box-to-box game.

"We are down with open, box to box, flowing games because we trust our backline and goalkeeper to take care of business. They did, and now we are looking to close out our regular season in control of the region." -head coach Max Sampson

The Titans now have a unbeaten streak of 10 games and are the top defensive team across most statistical categories, most notably only allowing 7 goals against all season. The win gives the Titans 24 points and first place in the NWAC south region, with second place Southwest Oregon holding 16 points and a game in hand.

The next home game will be Wednesday 10/19/22 at 1:30PM vs. Chemeketa Storm in the final home regional game for the Lane Titans. Admission is free.
