The Lane Community College men's soccer team scored three goals in the final 15 minutes to overcome a slow start and beat Portland Community College 3-2 to earn their 7th win of the season- the most single season wins in program history. The win also sets an 8 game unbeaten streak (6-0-2), also a program record.

The first half of the game was played primarily in the Lane Titans half as the PCC would find many transition openings through the Lane lines which led to a 25th minute goal by PCC. Lane would go down a goal heading into the halftime break despite out shooting PCC 10 to 5.

A calm and confident Titan team increased the pressure and adapted their passing lines in the second half for 18 total shots resulting in 3 goals first coming from a Jo Hanamoto finish in the 75th to open his scoring account.

Darius Scheer, who normally plies his trade as a defender, saw moments as winger and timed a run behind PCC and was fouled within the penalty box going to goal. The play resulted in a penalty kick converted by team captain Cameron Jeffery. The goal marked the first of his career.

Minutes later Hanamoto would find himself on the end of a Carson Pindell cross to net his second goal of the match to make the scoreline 3-1 in favor of the Titans in the 88th minute.

PCC kept fighting and earned a penalty after a hand ball was called by the official in the 90th. The final was score: Lane 3-2 PCC.
