Sophomore Goalkeeper Tristen McMahan prevented several dangerous scoring opportunities from Rogue Community College to help Lane Community College men's soccer earn a 0-0 tie and a much needed point in the standings.

"Tristen is not to be trifled with. He takes his job between the pipes seriously and we are glad he is on our team. In a dog fight game like today its important to not let anything silly happen, and he rarely does. In front of him we have a stable of dedicated defenders who play hard." -Head Coach Max Sampson

Lane remains in first place through five games but region rival Southwest Oregon Community College is in a close second place. The two teams will face off twice more this season with Lane hosting on 10/1/22.

"Our players and coaches were frustrated at the end (of the Rogue game), because we aren't scoring enough. I need to reinforce concepts that compliment the skill sets we have in our front line." -Head Coach Max Sampson

Lane will travel to Salem on Wednesday to play an improved Chemeketa side. The Lane Titans return home on Saturday 10/1/22 at 12:00pm versus SWOCC. The winner of this game will be in the driver seat within the South Region.

Local youth soccer players and future Titans are encouraged to come watch a home soccer game. Full schedule is available at lanetitans.com
