The Lane Community College Volleyball team traveled to Everett Washington over this past weekend and came home with the Championship Trophy. The Titans defeated North Idaho College, 3 sets to 2 and Chemeketa CC 3 sets to 0 on Friday, September 16 th . The next day the Titans defeated Skagit Valley College 3 sets to 0 to move into the championship contest against Highline College. After dropping two of the first three sets, the Titans finished strong by winning the final two sets and the tournament championship. Celia Hubbard and Elijah Sanders represented Lane on the All-Tournament team and Maddie Dowell was voted the Most Valuable Player award.
The Titans are now 9-0 on the season and return to action on Friday, September 23 when they travel to Clark College to resume Southern Region play.
