Lane Community College Men's Soccer prevailed against south region rival Clark College in Vancouver. The traveling Titans took an early lead thanks to a 9th minute near post finish by attacking midfielder Fernando Bitelli, assisted by midfielder Walter Reustle. The visiting Titans scored again when midfielder Carson Pindell assisted forward Oy Rydland in the 13th minute to provide a 2-0 lead.

With a very direct style, and aggressive organization on corner kicks Clark College fired back with 3 goals before half, and the team had to make defensive adjustments for the second half.

"The conversation at halftime was really honest and had to do with our lapses in mentality" coach Sampson explained, "I've felt that our response to mistakes and urgency at moments wasn't great, and we needed to give more to the team when we lost the ball and be physical without fouling. I told them to play likes dogs."

After long bouts of attacking pressure the Titans evened the game 3-3 with a long-range strike from Pindell who has been a consistent threat from outside the penalty box this season.

Rydland closed the scoring account with a penalty shot after Clark College fouled Walter Reustle who was dribbling freely in their penalty box.
