An 81st minute laser of a shot from Jose Centeno salvaged the game for the Titans, who hosted Portland Community College resulting in a 1-1 draw and hard-earned point for both sides. The Titans dominated possession but were unable to penetrate the Portland defense. The visiting Panthers were a counterattacking side and were able to capitalize with a goal in the 3rd minute Rayyan Abu-Marjoub.
"It was a frustrating day for us. We talked about starting games right, and this has been a pattern for us. We allowed an early goal but played true soccer for most of it. The focus for us will be to get better in the attacking third and generate real chances using 2 or 3 players in combination."
Lane is back in action Saturday October 2nd in Salem. Kickoff is scheduled for 12PM.
