A 35-yard pure strike by Mikhail Budris put the nail in Chemeketa's coffin and capped a dominant performance by the Lane Community College Titans who won 3-0 to finish the 2020-21 season. A game that saw all three goalkeepers on the Titan roster play, and all three with big moments between the posts- most notably 6 diving saves in the first 30 minutes by Jon Fechtel to preserve the Titan's clean sheet.

The first half saw both teams with plenty of opportunities. Nando Bitelli slotted the first goal from combination play on the right flank to give the host Titans the lead. The Titan's never let up the gas pedal from there, as fellow midfielder Sai Bliss beat three defenders en route to an impressive goal and display of skill and composure.

"We have a lot of talent on this team, but more so I am proud of how these guys lived by our core values and were a true team throughout the COVID season. Our most experienced guys always helped our less experienced players and this team always had a good time together (despite 6AM practices). I am fortunate to have coached them, and we can always look back and say we played through this pandemic and remember this season fondly. I will definitely miss the players who are moving on, but I have no doubt that they will have success beyond soccer." -Coach Sampson
