"Piper has worked very hard this year on all facets of her running fitness including strength conditioning and as a result has emerged as one of our top distance runners on the Lane XC and T & F team," said Lane Head Coach Bill Steyer, "She is a great team role model both academically and athletically. It was exciting to watch her lead her teammates to a perfect team score!  I look forward to seeing her continue to improve throughout the spring track and field season.
