WSOC | Three Titans named All-Stars

WSOC | Three Titans named All-Stars
Eugene, Ore. – Three Lane Titans women's soccer players named to the Southern Region NWAC all-star team. Freshman midfielder Aspen Trujillo, freshman defender Bailey Mullins and freshman goalkeeper Madisen Lease were all named all-stars.

Aspen Trujillo had one goal and three assists for the Titans. Her five points were tied for second on the team.

Bailey Mullins had one goal and was a part of a back line that allowed 1.8 goals a game, including six shutouts.

Madisen Lease played all 1,350 available minutes in goal and made 83 saves. Her 1,350 minutes is most for a goalkeeper in program history and her 83 saves are second most in a single season in program history. Lease also had a 75.5 save percentage, third best in program history. Lease was even better during conference play, allowing only 1.0 goal per game and saving 82.3 percent of shots. Lease went 5-6-5.

Overall the Titans finished third in the Southern Region and made it to the first round of the playoffs before losing on the road at Whatcom, 4-0. 13 of the 16 players on the roster were freshman, so an improved Titans team in 2020 is likely for head coach Bryn Dennehy.
