EUGENE, Ore. – The host Titans took home the men's and women's team titles at the Southern Region Championships with team scores of 266 points for the men and 255.5 points for the women. Clackamas finished second in both and Clark was third in the men's standings and Treasure Valley was third on the women's side.
The Titan men had 20 qualifying times/marks, 25 different athletes score, nine first places finishes, 24 podium finishes, 18 collegiate personal best's and one new top-10 mark.
The Titan women had 21 qualifying times/marks, 21 different athletes score, nine first place finishes, 22 podium finishes, 21 collegiate personal best's and a new school record.

In the 100-meters Nick Rogozinski ran a collegiate personal best and NWAC-season third-best at 10.83 seconds. Rogozinski would also post a collegiate personal best and NWAC-season fifth-best in the 200-meters at 22.38 seconds.
In the 1500-meters Anthony Stone won and set a collegiate personal and NWAC-season best time of 4:00.30 seconds.
In the 110-meter hurdles Israel Miles set a collegiate personal best and NWAC-season second-best with a time of 15.00 seconds. Miles would set the same records is the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 56.01 seconds.
The Titans won the 4x100-meter relay with Nick Rogozinski, Jacob Williams, Israel Miles and Raymond Blasquez in a season best and NWAC-season third-best time of 42.66 seconds.
The Titans also won the 4x400-meter relay with Nathan Poff, Nick Rogozinski, Josh Peterson and Jacob Williams with a season and NWAC-season best 3:23.36 second time.
David Sanchez-Perez and Nathan Wirth went 2-3 in the pole Vault behind their teammate Justin Petz. Petz has the second-best mark of the NWAC-season (4.96m/16'-3.25"), which came at the OSU High Performance Meet. Sanchez-Perez vaulted 4.68m/15' 4.25" for a collegiate personal best and NWAC-season fourth best. Wirth vaulted 4.38m/14'-4.5" for a collegiate personal best and NWAC-season sixth-best during the championships.
Trent Reavis recorded a collegiate personal best and NWAC-season second-best throw in the discus with a 44.76m/146'-10" throw. Reavis also won the shot put with a throw of 13.93m/45'-8.5" and placed fourth in the hammer with a collegiate best throw of 40.02m/131'03".
Sawyer Christopher won the javelin with a throw of 62.71m/205'-9". It was an NWAC-season second-best and replaced his school record eighth-best mark of 62.27m/204'-3". Christopher's collegiate best came as an unattached athlete at the George Fox Rich Allen Classic in March when he threw 66.34m/217'-8"; that would rank him as the second-best javelin thrower in school history, only tailing Olympian Cyrus Hostetler (73.63m/241'-10" in 2008).

In the 100-meters Shayla Noil won and recorded an NWAC-season second-best time of 12.28 seconds. Her best is 12.01 seconds at the NWAC Championships last year.
Destiny Curley finished fourth and set a collegiate person best and NWAC-season tied for eighth-best time of 12.78 seconds. Curley finished second in the 200-meters with a collegiate personal best and NWAC-season eighth best time of 26.34 seconds.
Eryn Ricker won the 200-meters with a collegiate personal best and NWAC-season sixth best time of 26.18 seconds.
Tylor Harper won the 100-meter hurdles with a collegiate and NWAC-season best time of 15.60 seconds.
Isabella Garcia finished second in the 100-meter hurdles with a collegiate personal best and NWAC-season second-best time of 15.64 seconds. Garcia won the 400-meter hurdles with a collegiate personal and NWAC-season best time of 1:04.33; one-of-three athletes to qualify this season.
Garcia and Harper are the only two athletes to meet the NWAC qualifying time in the 100-meter hurdles this season.
The Titans won the 4x100-meter relay with Zarah Wemple, Eryn Ricker, Destiny Curley and Shayla Noil with a season and NWAC-season best time of 48.97 seconds.
The Titans finished second in the 4x400-meter relay with a 4:16.44 time. It was the second fastest time of the day and season, but neither the Titans nor the winner Clackamas Cougars posted a qualifying time.
The big individual news came from Emily Thomason. Thomason won the women's pole vault with a mark of 3.82m/12'-6.25". This is a collegiate and NWAC-season best, but most notably broke the school record of 3.81m/12'06" set by current Eastern Washington Eagle (NCAA DI) Morgan Fossen last year at the NWAC Championships. Just a week prior Thomason became the eighth-best vaulter. The Titans now have two of the top-four vaulters with fourth-best vaulter Delaney Fields.
Paris Newdall won the shot put with a throw of 12.48m/40'-11.5". This was not a collegiate best, that came at the Linfield Open when she threw 12.94m/42'-5.5", that is the best mark in the NWAC this season. Newdall also won the discus with a throw of 38.30m/125'-08". This mark ties her collegiate best and NWAC-season second-best throw at the SOU Raider Invite. Newdall placed second in the hammer with a 40.40m/132-06" throw.
Kate Borsz placed second in the discus with a collegiate best and NWAC-season third-best throw of 37.55m/123'-02". Borsz won the hammer with a throw of 45.91m/150'-07". Borsz also got two points out of the shot put.
Bell Hill placed seventh with a collegiate best throw of 10.00m/32'-9.75" in the shot put. Hill placed third in the discus with a collegiate best and NWAC-season fourth-best throw of 37.07m/121'-07". To continue her strong showing, Hill placed third in the hammer with another collegiate best and NWAC-season fourth-best throw of 39.73m/130'04".
