Titan 30th Avenue Twilight

 

MEET INFORMATION - Lane Community College looks forward to hosting the Titan 30th Avenue Twilight.  This is a non-scoring meet.  University, College, Club and Unattached athletes are welcome.  There will also be an Elite High School 1500m Boys and Girls Race.  With the exception of the Elite High School 1500m races, all athletes must be college age or older.

ENTRY PROCEDURES - Meet entries will only be accepted via the Direct Athletics Web Site  (High School entries will be via Athletic.net.)   Entries will be accepted beginning April1st.  Entries close Tuesday, April 16th at Noon- 12p. No additions or entries on the day of the meet will be accepted. 


ENTRY FEE -All participants will be charged $20 for entry into the meet.  (There will be no charge for the High School Elite 1500m races.)  Programs with more than 15 entered participants will be charged a maximum of $300.  Unattached athletes must wear their assigned bib number. Cash or check at packet pick-up (Track and Field Storage Shed).

CHECK–IN PROCEDURES -The Clerk Tent will be located near the Track and Field Storage Shed. Throughout the event, it is important that athletes report 30 minutes prior to the start of the race and NOT LATER. Please give extra attention to announcements for those races. All field event athletes are to report at the event site not later than 30 minutes prior to the start of the first flight.

WEIGHTS AND MEASURES-Implement certification for throwing events will be held from 11:AM to 12:30PM inside the Track and Field Storage Shed.  Implements that do not certify will be held until the conclusion of the event. Be sure to report back to the weights and measures area to retrieve your implements once the event has concluded. 

WARM UP AND COOL DOWN AREA - No warm up will be allowed on the track infield unless accompanied by a staging official 5 minutes prior to your event.  The adjacent soccer field and facility bark trails should be used by athletes for warm up and cool down.

TEAM TENTS/CAMP-Team tents will be allowed in the grass soccer bowl on the other side of the berm near the track. Please clean up your area before you depart the meet!

FIELD EVENTS – Top eight (8) will advance to finals, minimum distances may be established once entries are submitted.
