Eugene, Ore. - Kellen Strahm who was drafted in the 5th round (145th overall) by the Texas Rangers signed and was assigned to thier Arizona League affiliate where he played one game before heading to Single-A Short Season Spokane Indians of the Nothwest League.
Through five total games Strahm is hitting .381 with six RBIs, three stolen bases and a .432 on-base percentage. Depending on his play, Strahm could return to Eugene to face the Emeralds at PK Park on July 29 thru August 1.
