Eugene, Ore. – The Titans baseball team will head to Tacoma, Wash. to play in the Tacoma Super Regional. The tournament is double elimination so all teams will get at least two games. The Titans will have to win three games to advance.
The Titans will face the four-seed Skagit Valley from the north on Friday, May 17 at 1:00 p.m. The winner of the first game will play host Tacoma at 4:00 p.m. later on Friday.
The Cardinals finished with a 20-20 overall record and an 11-13 conference record in the Northern Region.
Some common opponents for the Titans and Cardinals are Edmonds, the Titans went 1-1 at the Tritons and the Cardinals went 1-3 (1-1 on the road and 0-2 at home); Spokane, the Titans went 1-0 vs the Sasquatch and the Cardinals went 1-3 vs Spokane; Bellevue, the Titans went 1-3 at the Bulldogs and the Cardinals went 1-3 (1-1 at home, 0-2 on the road); Clackamas, the Titans swept the four-game series and the Cardinals went 3-1 on the road.
