Errors and walks doom Titans | Fall 5-1 vs Clark

Henry Lovekamp went 2-of-4 with a 2B and two RBI's in the Titans come-from-behind win at Clark, 6-4.

The Titans scored first but lose 5-1 vs Clark.

How it happened: Takanori Shimizu scored Skyler Vail on an RBI-single in the the 3rd inning to put the Titans up 1-0.

In the 4th inning Clark would tie the game on a sacrifice bunt and throwing error by starter Mitchell Bell. The next batter would hit a sacrifice fly to score a second unearned run. A third and final unearned run of the inning made 3-1 Penguins.

The Penguins would get their second sacrifice fly in the 5th inning to make it 4-1. An RBI-double later in the inning made it 5-1 Penguins.

What/who stood out: One run is the fourth time in 18 conference games with one or fewer…one XBH makes five straight games and 19-of-22 with an XBH…zero offensive strikeouts is the third time this season…six walks conceded is the most in 16 games…three strikeouts is only the second time with three or fewer in 18 conference games…one error allowed three unearned runs to score.
