Hannah Hayes and Stacia Panther are Week 10 Southern Region Players of the Week

Hannah Hayes and Stacia Panther are the week 10 Southern Region players of the week. Hayes and Panther helped lead the Titans to a 2-0 record in league play, beating Clark on the road 3-0 and Mt. Hood at home 3-1. The 2-0 record moved the Titans from 4th place to a tie for 2nd.

Hayes was named the region's offensive player of the week after recording 16 kills on only 30 attempts, a .533 hitting percentage. She had a team high 8 total blocks, and added six digs and three aces. Hayes collected a team high 24 points for her contributions.

Hayes is 19th in the NWAC in kills per set, averaging 2.76. She is also 4th in the NWAC with 35 solo blocks. And she is tied for 8th averaging 3.7 points per set.

Panther was named the region's defensive player of the week after leading the team with 30 total digs and adding 12 assists and an ace.

Panther is 3rd in the NWAC with 492 total digs, and 2nd averaging 5.18 digs per set. She is one of only 10 players averaging 4 or more digs per set, and out of those 10, she has the most total points with 41. Panther only had one ace, but she is 14th in total aces with 35.

The Titans play their final home game on Friday, November 2 and then at Umpqua on November 3 and they finish the regular season at Linn-Benton on Wednesday November 7.
