The Titans battled to a 29-27 win in set number one, but lost three of the next four in a five set, non-conference game against the New Hope Deacons.

The Deacons used 20 kills on 45 attempts from Chandler Heinrick; 47 assists and only 2 errors from Violet Mills to help ignite the offense. Samantha Swanson chipped in with 13 kills on 32 attempts and 12 digs.

The Titans were paced offensively by Hannah Hayes who had 14 kills on 32 attempts. Taylor Russell had 26 assists, 12 digs and 3 kills. Stacia lead with 26 digs.

This loss for the Titans does not affect their standing as they look to bounce back against a league opponent at the end of the week.

Their next match is on the road, Friday, at Clackamas, who is tied for fourth in the Southern Region, and only 1 game behind the Titans, who are second.
