Yuuyu Suzuki was named NWAC women's soccer Athlete of the Year. Suzuki is a freshman forward from Maebashi, Gunma, Japan.

Unlike most forwards, Suzuki excelled at finding her teammates for scoring opportunities, as a result she lead the NWAC with 13 assists. She added 10 goals, 18th in the NWAC, for a total of 33 points, 10th most.

Suzuki recorded a season high six points in a 7-0 win vs Treasure Valley. In the game she had two goals and two assists. Suzuki recorded a point in 13 of her 18 games played. Suzuki scored two goals three times: Treasure Valley, Centralia, and Chemeketa.

Suzuki's importance was never more apparent than when the Titans lost, in the two losses Suzuki didn't record a point and only had one shot attempt. She was also the player that started the play that got the Titans their one goal in their playoff loss to Walla Walla, a goal that would have been a hockey assist.
