Mariana Rodriguez scored the game-winner in the 87th minute for Lane Community College as the Titans held on to defeat visiting Chemeketa 2-1 on Wednesday in a Northwest Athletic Conference South Region women's soccer game, getting their sixth straight win to end the regular season.
Gwyn Anderson scored in the 11th minute to put Lane up 1-0, but the Storm tied the score with a goal in the final minute of the first half by Kaisha Davis-Caberto.
Danielle VanOrd got the assist on both of the Titans' goals, and goalkeeper Hanalyn Sypher had saves in the victory.
Lane improved to 10-5-2 overall and 9-3-0 the South Region, where they are in second place, four-points behind Clark.
