Lady Titans Hold Off Panthers

The Lady Titan Women's Basketball team battled a tough Portland Community College Panther
squad and came away with the victory, 66-60. The Titans entered halftime down by one point,
34-33, but outscored the Panthers by 5 points in the third period and never looked back. The
Lane Women lead by as many as 11 in the fourth period and held on for the 6-point victory.
This is the second time the Titans have taken down the Panthers in Southern Region play.
Micah Wicks erupted for 29 points to lead the Titans in scoring. Brook Stookey was the only
other Titan to reach double figures in scoring with 10 points. Stookey lead the Titans with nine
rebounds and Emma McDonald grabbed seven.
The Titans are currently 22-2 on the season and 10-2 in Southern Region play. They return to
play next Saturday, February 17 th when they host the Clark Community College. Tip-off is set for
2:00 pm.
