Maddie Bertsch is a 5-11 guard from West Salem High School in Salem, Ore. Bertsch was a first team Mountain Valley Conference (MVC) selection as a junior and was named MVC P.O.Y. and 2^nd team All-State as a senior. Bertsch led the Titans to a 2^nd place finish in the MVC with a 16-10 overall record last season.

Bertsch averaged 17.1 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 3.4 apg and 2.2 spg during her senior season. She has a career-high in points of 37. Along with her scoring and 2.2 spg, Bertsch averaged over five deflections per game leading to many extra opportunities offensively. Bertsch was also named team captain for the Titans.
