The Titans used a 38-point 1^st quarter and Kylie Guelsdorf's first career triple-double to beat Portland on the road, 110-42.

How it happened: The Titans scored the game's first 32 points and didn't allow Portland to score until the 1:25 mark. Megan Still would finish off the quarter with two threes and the Titans led 38-5.

The Titans shot 60.9 percent from the field, 50 percent from three (5-10) and made 5-8 free throws. They held Portland to 15.4 percent shooting (2-13) and forced 10 turnovers. Megan Still had nine points on 3-5 from three and three steals; Kylie Guelsdorf had seven points, five assists, three rebounds and two steals.

Portland scored the first six points of the 2^nd quarter and the Titans didn't score until the 7:59 mark when Megan Still made a layup that sparked an 8-2 Titan run. It was 10-8 Portland the rest of the way.

The Titans shooting dropped to 42.1 percent, with no made threes and only three free throw attempts. Portland shot 35 percent and made 3-7 threes. Mya India Thomas had four points and two rebounds off the bench; Meagan Briggs had six points and two rebounds; Kylie Guelsdorf had two points, three rebounds and three assists.

The Titans scored the first seven points of the 3^rd quarter and held Portland scoreless for the first 3:30. The Titans closed the final 6:12 on a 23-5 run; Mya India Thomas had 19 of the Titans 23 points.

The Titans returned to the plus 50 percent mark after making 12-22 (54.5 percent) shots despite a 1-8 mark from three. The Titans held Portland under the 20 percent mark for the second time in three quarter, holding them to 19 percent and 0-7 from three. Mya India Thomas had 19 points (9-9) and three steals in only seven minutes off the bench; Kylie Guelsdorf had two points, five assists and four rebounds; Kalina Rojas had six points, six rebounds, one steal and one block.

The Titans got their first four points from Maddy Carrier and were out to a 9-2 start in the 4^th quarter. After a quick 5-0 Portland run, the Titans responded with a 15-2 run and ultimately a 110-42 win.

The Titans shot 50 percent and held Portland to 15.4 percent, again. Maddy Carrier had seven points and three rebounds; Kelly O'Malley had five points, three rebounds and an assist; Mya India Thomas added six more points and a steal, all players came off bench.

What/who stood out: The Titans shot 52.4 percent; their first game over 50 percent in nine games…10 made threes is back-to-back double-digit make games; it had been seven games since they did the same thing vs Portland and at SWOCC…55 rebounds is a season-high and second time in three games over 50…20 offensive rebounds is their fifth games with 20 plus and their 25^th in-a-row with double-digits…25 assists in their second straight with 20 plus; they've had double-digits in 24 of 25 games with their lone single-digit game being their loss at Umpqua (8)…seven turnovers is the second time this season and first since Nov. 18 vs Centralia with single-digits; it's also their 10^th straight game under 20 and their 17^th of 18…13 steals is four straight double-digit games and 8 of 9…13 fouls is four straight under 20 and 12 of 14…110 points is a season-high and their fifth 100-point game.

Mya India Thomas broke her career-high in points for the second straight game with 34 points on 15-22 shooting; she also tied a career-high with five steals…Kalina Rojas had her sixth double-double in seven games with 20 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal…Kylie Guelsdorf had her first career triple-double with 11 points, 14 assists (1 turnover), 11 rebounds and two steals; this was her fourth double-digit assist game and her sixth double-digit scoring game in her last seven after only doing so in two of her previous 12 games.

What it means: After Umpqua's loss at Clackamas, the Titans take sole possession of 1^st place at 11-1 with four games remaining. They're also an NWAC-best 23-2 overall.

What's next: The Titans host 6^th place Linn-Benton (11-14, 5-8) on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
