Eugene, Ore. - Jahzelle Ambus competed at Lane during the 2013 and 2014 outdoor seasons. She helped the women's track and field program win two Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) team titles.

In 2014 she was a 100-meter and 200-meters NWAC champion. She was also the anchor leg in the school record 4x100-meter relay team time and was the third leg on the school record 4x400-meter relay team time.

Jahzelle transferred to Seattle Pacific University (2015-16) and broke three school records (indoor 200-meters and 400-meters; outdoor 400-meters).

In 2015, she was a United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) all-west region indoor (200-meters, 400-meters and 4x400-meters relay) and USTFCCCA all-west region outdoor (200-meters, 400-meters, 4x100-meters relay).

In 2016, she was a USTFCCCA all-American indoor (distance medley relay (DMR) and 4x400-meter relay) and all-GNAC outdoor (200-meters, 400-meters, 4x100-meters relay and 4x400-meters relay). She also competed at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) division II indoor national championships (400-meters, DMR and 4x400-meter relay) and the outdoor national championships (400-meters).

She graduated with a degree in exercise science and spent one year on staff as the assistant sprints coach at Lane in 2017.
