Linfield Open | Two wins and two new top-10 athletes

Emily Thomas placed fourth in the women's pole vault with a mark of 3.60m, which makes her the eight best pole vaulter in school history.

The Titans had five top-three finishes, two first place finishes and two new top-10 athlete at the Linfield Open on Saturday, May 4 in McMinnville, Ore.

Top men's results:

Adrian Garcia-Dena placed eighth in the pole vault with a mark of 4.30m/14' 1.25". This is an NWAC-season sixth best and collegiate best. It's also a qualifying mark.

Cody Gilbert finished sixteenth in the 800-meters with a time of 1:59.84. This is an NWAC-season tenth best and collegiate best. It's 1.74 seconds off the qualifying time of 1:58.10.

Josh Peterson finished second in the 400-meters with a time of 50.67. This is an NWAC-season sixth best and a qualifying time.

Casey Pugh finished seventh in his first collegiate 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:22.89. This an NWAC-season sixth best and 3.9 seconds off the qualifying time of 10:18.99.

Trent Reavis placed third in the discus with a throw of 44.72m/146' 9". This is an NWAC-season second best and collegiate best. This is 5.10m better than the qualifying mark.

David Sanchez-Perez finished placed fifth in the pole vault with a mark of 4.45m/14' 7.25".

Zane Wardwell placed ninth in the discus with a throw of 39.53m/129' 8". This is an NWAC-season sixth best and collegiate best. It's 0.9m off the qualifying mark of 39.62m.

Top women's results:

Kate Borsz placed ninth in the discus with a throw of 36.75m/120' 7". This is an NWAC-season fourth best and collegiate best. It's also a qualifying mark.

Destiny Curley finished eleventh in the 200-meters with a time of 26.58. This is an NWAC-season eighth best and collegiate best. It's 0.23 seconds off the qualifying time of 26.35.

Claire Ebert finished third in the 5000-meters with a time of 19:35.84. This is an NWAC-season fifth best and collegiate best. It's

Isabella Garcia won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:04.61. This is an NWAC-season best, qualifying time and collegiate best. This is still 32.03 seconds off the qualifying mark that only two athletes have made.

Tylor Harper finished seventh in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.87 (+0.3), .01 off her collegiate best at OSU High Performance Meet.

Jaiden Lemberger finished fifteenth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.30 (+0.3).

Melody McGrath finished thirteenth in the 1500-meters with a time of 5:08.94. This is an NWAC-season sixth best and collegiate best. It's 5.61 seconds off the qualifying time of 5:03.33.

Paris Newdall won the shot put with a throw of 12.94m/42' 5.50", making her the tenth best shot putter in school history. This is an NWAC-season best and collegiate best. This is 1.45m better than the qualifying mark.

Emily Thomason placed fourth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.60m/11' 9.75", making her the eighth best pole vaulter in school history. This is an NWAC-season tied for second best and collegiate best. It's also a qualifying mark.
