SALEM — Chemeketa's Sebastian Ruelas scored in the 90th minute to preserve a 1-1 tie against Lane in a Northwest Athletic Conference men's soccer match Saturday.
The teams had battled to a scoreless tie through the first half until Lane's Jesus Velazco gave the Titans a 1-0 with an unassisted goal in the 54th minute. The game-winner for the division-leading Storm (8-1-1, 4-0-1 South Region) was one of eight shots for Ruelas in the contest.
Anthony Armenta Williams recorded 10 saves for Lane (5-4-1, 2-2-1).
