Eugene, Ore. - The Titans led by 11 early in the first half and overcame a six-point halftime deficit to lead by seven after five minutes in the second half, but still fell by 10.

The Titans were competitive in most statistical areas: field goal percentage (45.9 to 46.7 percent), three point field goal percentage (46.7 to 42.9 percent), made threes (14 to 12), but where Umpqua won this game was in the paint where they were plus 26. Couple the Riverhawks' paint advantage with a plus 21-point advantage in bench points, second chance points and points off turnover and the Titans were unable to overcome the visitors.

Rodney Hounshell and Isaac Lange led the Titans with 17 a piece and Ty Horner added 16.

The Titans (10-3, 1-1) travel to first place and No. 1 Clackamas (13-1, 2-0) on Saturday at 4 p.m.
