Eugene, Ore. - The Titans had a nine-point halftime lead but fall by 10, 69-59 versus the South Puget Sound Clippers during day one of the 2019 Dale Bates Classic.
Rodney Hounshell lead the Titans with 16 points and had a career-high 13 rebounds. Hounshell has now recorded double-digit rebounds in two of his three games and had nine rebounds in the third.
Aundre Polk had 10 points, five rebounds, two assists and a steal.
The Titans only shot 28.4 percent from the field and 19.5 percent from three.
The Titans (2-1) play Olympic (2-3) tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. in the second of three games during the Dale Bates Classic.
