The Titans were in some foul trouble to start but caught fire from the field and ran away from the Roadrunners, 112-53.

How it happened: The Titans scored the first six points and 12 of the first 15. Linn-Benton stayed close being down only five, 17-12, 8:57 into the game. The Titans would finish the half off in the final 10:49 with a 38-4 run and led 55-16.

Despite 55 points the Titans only shot 51.3 percent but made 6-7 free throws and 9-17 threes. They held Linn-Benton to 13.9 percent shooting and forced 12 turnovers. Tarik Cool had 19 points, five rebounds and three assists after a great 2^nd half at Portland last game.

Linn-Benton came out and scored 11 of the first 15 points of the 2^nd half and cut their deficit to 32 with 16:37 remaining. The Titans responded with a 28-8 run to the 9:55 mark and lead by 52, 87-35. A 18-6 run in the final 5:32 sealed a blowout victory over the Roadrunners, 112-53.

The Titans shooting improved to 63.6 percent, 64.3 percent (9-14) from three and 75 percent (6-8) from the line. The Titans defense was not quite as stout, allowing 42.4 percent shooting, but despite five threes allowed, it took Linn-Benton 16 attempts to reach that total.

Tarik Cool had 16 more points; Lucas Wilson had 14 points; Will Graves had nine points and four rebounds off the bench.

Tarik Cool scored a season-high 35 points and added seven rebounds, six assists and two steals; Cool has now scored 20 plus in two straight and double-digits in three straight after no 20-point games in five games and two single-digits scoring games; Cool had 20-point games in 15 of 17…Will Graves had a season-high vs an NWAC opponent with 17 points and six rebounds off the bench; this is Graves second double-digit scoring game in his las four, had zero in the previous 15 games vs NWAC opponents…Lucas Wilson had 22 points, seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal…Tashon Brown had 14 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals…Cody Mathis had 14 points, eight rebounds, three blocks, two steals and an assist.

What it means: The Titans remain tied with Umpqua for 1^st at 11-2, and they're now 22-3 overall.
