Each team had double-digit leads, but the Titans prevail 94-91, move to 7-0.
How it happened: The scored first and had a 21-10 advantage with 13:30 remaining. Foul trouble for Rodney Hounshell and Cody Mathis forced the Titans to play different lineups. A Spokane three with 2:22 to go gave them their first lead, 38-36. Spokane would take a 42-38 lead into half.
Tarik Cool had 10 and was the only Titan in double figures. Cool added four assists, four steals and three rebounds. The Titans committed 11 turnovers and only eight assists.
The 2nd half started with four Titan points to tie the game at 42. Spokane would go on an 11-2 run and claim their first double-digit lead of the game, 60-50. The Titans woke up from there; they immediately responded with a 17-0 run and took a 67-60 lead. Spokane would later claim a one-point lead, but that was short lived as the Titans made most of their free throws down the stretch to win 94-91.
Three Titans had double figures in the 2nd half; Tarik Cool, Tashon Brown and Lucas Wilson. Tarik Cool had 21 points in the half.
What/who stood out: The Titans were down at half and were down double-figures, both for the first time of the season. The Titans only shot 25.9 percent from three and it was the first time not reaching 10 threes or 100 points. They also only had one more assists than turnovers.
Despite not reaching 100, Tarik Cool's 31 points was the first player to reach the 30-point mark. Cool added eight assists, five steals, and four rebounds and was 9-10 from the line. Josh Erickson had a Titan-high 11 rebounds. Lucas Wilson had 15 points and six rebounds and was 9-12 from the line.
What it means: The Titans are 7-0. This was the first game against an NWAC opponent that was above .500; Spokane was 6-1.
